Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains the terms under which Glorentis Journeys ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") may issue refunds for travel planning and consultation services purchased through our website or by direct agreement with a client.

Because our services involve time, research, expertise, and the creation of personalized travel materials, refunds are handled differently from physical goods or automated digital products. By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

2. Nature of Our Services

Glorentis Journeys provides custom travel planning services, including itinerary creation, hotel research, flight guidance, destination recommendations, and budget optimization. Each project is tailored to the individual client and typically begins with research and planning work soon after payment or project confirmation.

Due to the customized nature of our work, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project and the amount of work already completed at the time of the request.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Full Refunds

You may be eligible for a full refund if:

  • You cancel your order before any planning, research, or project work has begun.
  • A duplicate payment was made in error.
  • We are unable to provide the agreed service for reasons solely within our control.

3.2 Partial Refunds

You may be eligible for a partial refund if work has already started but the final travel plan has not yet been fully delivered. In such cases, any refund amount will be determined based on the portion of work completed, research already performed, and administrative time invested in the project.

Examples of situations where a partial refund may apply include:

  • The client cancels after the consultation and intake stage but before final delivery.
  • Initial destination research, hotel comparisons, or itinerary structuring has already been completed.
  • A draft or partial version of the travel plan has already been shared with the client.

3.3 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The final travel plan, itinerary, or deliverable has already been completed and sent to the client.
  • The client changes their mind after substantial planning work has been completed.
  • The client no longer wishes to travel, changes destination, or postpones travel after work has started.
  • The client fails to provide necessary information, respond in a timely manner, or cooperate during the planning process.
  • The client is dissatisfied with third-party pricing, availability, airline policies, hotel policies, or destination conditions outside of our control.
  • The client books third-party services based on our recommendations and later seeks reimbursement for those third-party expenses.

4. Non-Refundable Third-Party Costs

Glorentis Journeys provides planning and consultation services. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, we do not directly sell flights, hotels, tours, transportation, or travel insurance. As a result, we are not responsible for refunding any third-party costs, including but not limited to:

  • Airline tickets
  • Hotel reservations
  • Tour bookings
  • Transportation reservations
  • Travel insurance premiums
  • Visa fees or government charges

Any cancellation or refund request related to third-party bookings must be addressed directly with the applicable provider under that provider's own policies.

5. Revision Requests vs. Refund Requests

Our goal is to provide a travel plan that aligns with your preferences and expectations. If you are unhappy with part of your deliverable, we encourage you to contact us first to request reasonable revisions where applicable.

A request for edits, clarifications, or adjustments to a delivered travel plan does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Where appropriate, we may choose to make reasonable corrections or refinements instead of issuing a refund.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must contact us in writing and provide enough information for us to review your case. Your request should include:

  • Your full name
  • Your contact information
  • The date of purchase
  • A description of the service purchased
  • The reason for your refund request

We reserve the right to request additional information if needed to evaluate your request fairly and accurately.

7. Review and Processing

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval of a refund is at our sole discretion, subject to applicable law and the terms outlined in this policy.

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, bank, or card issuer.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may delay resolution and may require us to provide documentation showing the scope of work completed, communications exchanged, and deliverables provided.

9. Exceptions

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Where such laws require a refund or impose specific obligations, we will comply with those legal requirements.

10. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
